Criminal Harassment

Belleville, Ontario - On July 6, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. a resident on Farley Ave was working on the exterior of his home along with other family members. A male from within this neighbourhood became agitated and started yelling at the resident. Unprovoked threats were made towards the homeowner. Further investigation revealed the victim and his family have had ongoing issues with this male in the past.

A 66 years old Belleville male was arrested and has been charged with one count of Threats and four counts of Criminal Harassment. He has been held for a Bail Hearing set for July 7, 2010.

Impaired & Over 80

Belleville, Ontario - On July 6, 2010 at 6:20 p.m. police responded to a complaint on Phillipston Rd. On arrival at the residence the officer observed a lone female in the driver's seat of a motor vehicle. The female stepped out of the vehicle holding alcohol and a set of keys. The female appeared unsteady on her feet as she moved to a lawn chair where she sat down and proceeded to open a can of beer.

Police arrested the 45 year old Belleville woman with Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle. She was subsequently charged with Care and Control, Over 80 mgs and has been held for a Bail hearing set for July 7, 2010.


Belleville, Ontario - On July 6, 2010 a vehicle owner from Alexander Street reported someone had set a fire inside her vehicle. The vehicle had been parked from 9pm on July 5th to 7am on July 6th which was when she noticed the damage. Sometime during that time suspects had entered her vehicle and set a fire in the front of the vehicle. Damage was limited to the dash area. Police are continuing their investigation.
