The Belleville Police Service responded to 71 calls for service between July 5th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and July 6th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Indecent Act

Belleville, Ontario – On the 5th of July 2019 at 4:55 p.m., police responded to a business on Millennium Parkway regarding an indecent act. It was reported that a male was observed committing an indecent act inside the business.  A police investigation has resulted in charges against a 36 year-old Picton man for an indecent act. He will attend a court date in July to face the charge.

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Belleville, Ontario – On the 5th of July 2019 at 10:04 a.m., police responded to the area of North Front Street regarding a two-vehicle collision. No injuries were reported and the involved parties were referred to the Collision Reporting Center located at the Belleville Police Service, 93 Dundas Street East, Belleville.

Belleville, Ontario – On the 5th of July 2019 at 7:11 p.m., police responded to the area of Wallbridge-Loyalist Road regarding a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a tractor trailer. Both vehicles sustained damage and no injuries were reported. As a result of a police investigation, a 35 year-old male was charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.

Belleville, Ontario – On the 5th of July 2019 at 7:59 p.m., police responded to the area of Station Street regarding a single vehicle collision where a vehicle struck a CN Rail communications pole. Minor injuries were reported with significant damage to the vehicle and the pole. Police are currently investigating the collision.
