The Belleville Police responded to 53 calls for service between th 5th of May 2019 at 0500 hrs and the 6th of May 2019 at 0500 hrs.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville, ON - On the 5th of May 2019 at 5:47 p.m., officers attended at the intersection of Avondale Rd and Dundas St W with regard to a mini bike losing control and crashing. The investigation indicated that the mini bike was east bound on Dundas St W and tried to turn north bound on Avondale Rd. The driver lost control and struck a curb. The driver was thrown from the mini bike and suffered what appeared to be serious injuries at the scene. He was transported to BGH. The investigation is continuing with regard to the male possibly being impaired by alcohol.
