Indecent Act

Belleville, Ontario ? On July 7, 2010 at 8:26 a.m. police responded to the Water Front Trail regarding a male exposing himself.

The victim was walking her dog on the trail when she was approached by a male who asked her ?how she was doing', while at the same time he unzipped his pants and exposed himself to her.

The suspect continued to walk east from behind the Water Treatment Plant. He is described as wearing a brown shirt, beige shorts, a ball hat and sunglasses. He was carrying a cell phone at the time. The suspect appeared to be in his mid 20's. He was last seen walking east bound.

The canine unit, several police officers and the Fire Department searched the area with negative results.

Police are continuing to ask the public to be diligent in reporting these incidents to police. If anyone should have any information that would assist police in identifying this person they are asked to call police at 613 966 0882 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-TIPS.
