Break and Enter(s)

Belleville, Ontario ? On May 6, 2010 at 6:01 p.m., police attended at a residence on Stone Street in response to a break and enter that occurred sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m... The resident reported that unknown person(s) pried open a window to gain entry and then stole electronics and jewelry and money. This investigation is ongoing.

Belleville, Ontario ? On May 6, 2010, at 11:07 p.m., police attended at a residence on Grier Street in response to a break and enter that occurred sometime between 3:05 p.m. and 4:40 p.m... The resident reported that unknown person(s) stole a laptop and one pair of shoes. This investigation is ongoing.

Impaired/ Possession/ Drive no license

Belleville, Ontario ? On May 6, 2010 at 8:30 p.m. police were informed by a citizen of a possible impaired driver that was westbound on Highway 2 coming into Belleville. This vehicle was stopped in the area of Charles Street and Dundas Street. The lone driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. Further to the arrest this male was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Nicholas Runnalls (30 years) of Belleville has been charged with Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle, Operation of motor vehicle with more than 80 mgs of Alcohol, Possession of a Schedule II Substance, Breach of Probation and Driving Motor Vehicle with no license. Runnalls will make a first appearance in provincial court on 3 June, 2010.
