Break & Enter/ Mischief/ Threats

Belleville, Ontario ? On 06 November 2011 at 5:41 a.m., police were called to a Dundas Street West residence in response to a disturbance complaint that involved two masked males carrying hammers. It was also learned that these males had attended at another west end residence minutes earlier.

Investigation of these incidents led to the arrest of two Belleville men.

Jonathan Andrew Hill (25 years) of Belleville has been charged with one count each of:

  • Break and Enter
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Fail to Comply with Undertaking
  • Mischief Under $5000.00
  • Wearing a Disguise in the commission of an Indictable Offence and
  • 2 counts of Uttering Threats

Tyler Jason Hill (22 years) of Belleville has been charged with one count each of:

  • Break and Enter
  • Mischief under $ 5000.00
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Wearing a Disguise in the commission of an Indictable Offence and
  • 2 counts of Breach of Probation

Jonathan Hill and Tyler Hill were both remanded into custody and will return to court on 08 November 2011 for Bail Hearings. No one was injured in either incident.

Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario ? On 6 November, 2011 at 9:43 p.m., police attended at a residence on Pine Street in response to a complaint of a residential break and enter. It was reported that unknown person(s) entered the residence between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. and stole electronics. This investigation is ongoing.
