At approximately 5:08 pm on August 7, 2012 police were called to a Haig Road residence to investigate a report of a neighbour dispute. The investigation revealed that woman had struck a 17 year old female several times causing minor injuries. The suspect was located and arrested a short time later. Tammy Ashley, 37, of Belleville was charged with one count of assault and released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of September 20, 2012.

Break and Enter

At approximately 7:16 pm on August 7, 2012 police were called to investigate a report of a break and enter at a Clearview Road residence. Sometime between 8:30 am and 6:15 pm on that date the home was entered by forcing open the front door. A quantity of cutlery, a silver serving tray, and a Ryobi cordless drill were taken from inside the residence. The Belleville Police Service's Forensic Identification Unit was called in to assist in the investigation which is ongoing
