Theft from Motor Vehicle

Belleville, Ontario ? On December 8, 2009, a Sidney street resident reported a theft from her motor vehicle. The theft occurred sometime between 5:50 p.m., on December 7th and 12:00 p.m., on December 9th. Stolen was hockey equipment including a set of goalie pads. The value of the property is estimated at $1100.00.

Belleville, Ontario ? On December 8, 2009, a vehicle owner reported a theft from his vehicle which had been parked on a restaurant parking lot on North Front Street. Suspects smashed the passenger window of the vehicle to gain entry. Taken were a GPS and an IPod. The theft occurred on December 8th between 6:40 p.m., and 9:40 p.m.

Belleville, Ontario ? On December 8, 2009, a home owner on Robertson Lane reported sometime over night suspects entered her vehicle which had parked in her drive way. Suspects ?ransacked' the vehicle however the only thing taken was a small amount of change.

Mischief & Theft

Belleville, Ontario ? on December 8, 2009, at 8:15 p.m., three males were seen causing damage to an apartment building on Victoria Ave. An occupant of the building reported the three males used a fire extinguisher to spray the inside of the common area of the building and then fled toward Pine Street. The building was left filled with yellow smoke as a result of this act of Mischief. The three males also took off with the fire extinguisher which belonged to the building.

Several witnesses in the area reported seeing the youths on Pine Street running west and last seen on Charles Street running toward Victoria Ave. Two of the males were described as one being much taller than the other, both were wearing white jackets with one wearing a ?Santa Claus' hat and the other wearing a ball cap placed sideways on his head. All three males were described as being ?youths.'

This incident is under investigation and anyone who may know the identity of the youths are asked to contact police 613 966 0882.

Mischief

Belleville, Ontario ? on December 8, 2009, a vehicle was vandalized as it was park at the Belleville Curling Club on Bridge Street West. Suspects threw a rock through the rear window of the vehicle causing it to smash. Nothing was reported stolen from the vehicle.

Stolen Motor Cycle

Belleville, Ontario ? on December 8, 2009, a Moira Street resident reported the theft of his Motor Cycle. The theft occurred at a Coleman Street location. The motor cycle is a 1974 Blue Honda and was not plated.

Mischief to Property

Belleville, Ontario ? on December 8, 2009, several youths were observed throwing eggs on two homes on Octavia Street and were last seen walking on Catherine Street. Further investigation revealed they also ?egged' 3 homes on Yeomans Street as well. Police located the ten youths ranging in age from 11 years to 14 years still in the area. All youths were made to clean the homes that were ?egged', each was turned over to their parents, and all were cautioned regarding their actions.
