Belleville Police Service responded to 55 calls for service from the 7th of February 2019 at 5:00 a.m. to the 8th of February 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Arrest on warrant

Belleville, ON – On the 7th of February at approximately 4:00 p.m. police arrested a 22 year-old Prince Edward County female on the strength of a breach of probation warrant that was held by Kingston Police. She was held in custody in Belleville’s cells until members of The Kingston Police Service attended to transport her to back Kingston to be processed.

Traffic enforcement

Belleville, ON – At 12:30 a.m. on the 8th of February, officers on patrol conducted a vehicle stop on Victoria Ave. in the area of Farley Ave that resulted in vehicle being towed and charges of driving without a license and misuse of plate’s being leveled against the 22 year-old male driver. The charge of permitting a vehicle to be driven without insurance was also laid against a 25 year-old female who was the registered owner and passenger of the vehicle.

Belleville, ON – At approximately 3:00 a.m. on the 8th of February, a 23 year-old Tweed resident was issued a 7-day driver’s license suspension for registering a warn on a roadside device after the vehicle he was operating was pulled over by police in the area of Sidney St. and College St. W. His vehicle was also impounded.
