Arrest on Warrant/Drug Charges
Belleville, Ontario – Shortly after 9:30 am on the July 8th, 2019 police responded to a Catherine St. residence with relation to an unwanted person. Police found that the unwanted 31 year-old Belleville female had an outstanding arrest warrant that included charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, mischief and breaching her recognizance. She was arrested and transported to The Belleville Police Service where a search resulted in the finding of a “Kinder Egg” containing three different types of drugs concealed in her bra. She was taken before a Justice of the Peace for a bail hearing on the 8th of July in relation to the charges stemming from the arrest warrant as well as two additional charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine and valium).
Belleville, Ontario – On July 8th, 2019 shortly after 12:00 pm, police were called to a west end residence with relation to a domestic dispute. As a result of investigation, a 20 year-old Belleville resident surrendered himself to police at The Belleville Police Station at approximately 3:30 pm. The male was charged with assault and mischief and was released on a promise to appear along with an officer in charge undertaking. He was given a July 29th court date to answer to the charges. His identity is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
Belleville, Ontario – On July 8th, 2019, at 11:52 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on Pepper Avenue. A 28 year-old male was charged with driving while under suspension and failing to stop a stop sign. The male will appear in Traffic Court on August 12th, 2019.
Trespass by Night
Belleville, Ontario – On July 8th, 2019, at 9:58 p.m. police attended on Sandpiper Court in relation to a prowler in a backyard. A homeowner had detained a male who was arrested by police for Trespass by Night and three counts of breach of probation. Aaron Woods, 26 years of age, will appear in court on August 8th, 2019.
