Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario – On June 8th, 2012, at 10:40 a.m. Police attended at an on Palmer Road in response to . Investigation revealed that unknown person(s) forced entry into the apartment. Nothing appears to have been taken at this time.

On June 8th, 2012, at 12:15 p.m., Police responded to another apartment on Palmer Road which had been entered. Jewelry and a purse were taken in this incident. Police are continuing the investigations into the two break-ins.

Mischief

Belleville, Ontario – On June 8th, 2012, at 9:00 a.m., Police attended on Front Street in response to a complaint of mischief. Two parked cars had their tires slashed by unknown person(s) sometime overnight.

Bail Violations

Belleville, Ontario – On June 8th, 2012, at 11:30 p.m. two officers were conducting foot patrol in the downtown core when two males bolted on foot. The ensuing foot pursuit went east to Church St. At this point the suspects doubled back to Front St. where one of the males entered the Moira River by the Bridge St. bridge. A 21 year old Belleville man was arrested without incident when it was learned that he was breaching a curfew condition. Jordan Turner will appear in Court on July 12th on a charge of Breach of a Recognizance.

On June 9th, 2012, at 1:00 a.m. Police were investigating an accident on Murney St. as an intoxicated pedestrian had been struck by a car turning into a private driveway. The 22 year old pedestrian was taken by ambulance to BGH for minor injuries. One of the onlookers at this accident scene was an 18 year old Belleville man who had recently been placed on probation with a curfew condition. This male had also breached his curfew on May 25th. This male was held for Bail on June 9th on three counts of Breach of Probation.

Disturbances

Belleville, Ontario – On June 9th, 2012, at 1:45 a.m. Police observed a disturbance on North Front St. A 19 year old Belleville man was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place under the Liquor Licence Act.

On June 9th, 2012, at 2:45 a.m., a 27 year old Belleville man was arrested on North Front St. for failing to leave premises when directed under the Trespass to Property Act.

On June 9th, 2012, at 3:00 a.m., Police responded to an unconscious male on North Front St. An ambulance escorted this male to BGH for alcohol-related issues.

On June 9th, 2012, at 3:05 a.m., Police attended on Everett St. in relation to another disturbance. An intoxicated male was located in the area. He was escorted to BGH by ambulance for minor injuries from a fight. No suspects were located.

On June 9th, 2012, at 3:10 a.m., Police attended on King George Square in relation to an unwanted male. This male was sent on his way.

On June 9th, 2012, at 3:15 a.m., Police attended on North Front St. in relation to a fight call. A 17 year old Belleville man was arrested for public intoxication under the Liquor Licence Act. He was also in possession of fake ID which portrayed him as a licenced 19 year old from Manitoba. This licence was seized and he was charged with "presenting false identification” under the Liquor Licence Act. He was also charged with "being under 19 years of age – consume liquor”.

On June 9th, 2012, at 3:20 a.m., Police attended at BGH in relation to the 22 year old pedestrian who had been struck earlier by a car on Murney St.. This male was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.

On June 9th, 2012, at 4:30 a.m., Police attended at a disturbance at a hotel on North Front St. The intoxicated parties were seperated and sent to their respective rooms.
