Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario ? March 9, 2010 at 7:13 a.m. police responded to a break and enter complaint at College Street, East residence. The victim reported that sometime through the night unknown person(s) forced entry into the shed at the rear of their residence and stole a black 2008 Suzuki four wheeler. This investigation is ongoing.


Belleville, Ontario ? March 9, 2010 at 12:16 p.m. police responded to a mischief complaint on Harmony Road. Sometime between 11:00p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2010 unknown person(s) smashed 4 mailboxes on Harmony Road. This investigation is ongoing.

Stolen Vehicle

Belleville, Ontario ? March 9, 2010 at 2:53 p.m. police responded to the parking lot of a Bell Blvd business for a complaint of a stolen blue 1999 Chevrolet Silverado (Ontario marker 5419WM). This truck was parked by the owner at 10:00a.m. and when the owner returned at 1:00 p.m. the truck was gone. This truck is described as chrome strip on the bottom and chrome gas cap, chrome rims and 33 inch Dick Cerek tires. This investigation is ongoing.


Belleville, Ontario ? March 9, 2010 at 6:14 p.m. police were notified by ambulance dispatch that a male had been shot in an east-end apartment. Police attended and secured the scene and several people were detained. Investigation revealed there had been an altercation but there was no weapon involved. A 34 year old Belleville male, was arrested and charged with Being Intoxicated in a Public Place contrary to the Liquour License Act of Ontario for his own protection. This male was later released from Belleville Police Service.
