Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario – On March 8th, 2013 at 11:51 a.m. police were called to a Coleman Street apartment in relation to a report of a break and enter. The suspect(s) entered the apartment and removed electronics and cigarettes. The investigation is continuing.

Shoplifters

Belleville, Ontario – On March 8th, 2013 at 1:50 p.m. police attended at Walmart in relation to two shoplifters in custody. The investigation revealed that the pair had concealed DVD movies under their clothing and left the store without paying for the items. The value of the movies was $235.00. Charged are 57 year old Randy Dean and 39 year old Tracey Bailey, both of Brockville. They will appear in court on April 11th 2013.

Disturbances

Belleville, Ontario – On March 8th, 2013, at 8:00 p.m., police responded to a north end restaurant in relation to a male who had left without paying his food and liquor bill. The male was located a short distance away and arrested for public intoxication under the Liquor Licence Act. The 35 year old Quinte West man settled his debt with the restaurant prior to being escorted to the station.

On March 9th, 2013, at 2:10 a.m., police attended in the parking lot of a North Front St. bar in relation to a fight. A 21 year old Quinte West man was arrested for "failing to leave premises when directed” under the Trespass to Property Act.
