Trespass to Property
Belleville Ontario ? On October 9, 2009, shortly after 11:00 pm police responded to an alarm at Centennial Secondary School. On arrival two young males were observed running from the school. Two males, 16 and 17 years old, were apprehended and after further investigation the two were released to the care of their parents. Both were charged with Trespass to Property.
Break & Enter
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 9, 2009, at 3:48 p.m., police responded to a report of a Break & Enter on Bridge West in Belleville. The home owners reported the entry occurred between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m., this date while they were out. They report their television, Sony surround sound, Toshiba DVD player and cash had been stolen. Entry was gained through a west window into the home. This incident is still under investigation.
Break & Enter
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 9, 2009, a Front Street business reported they were broken into over night. The Break and Enter was discovered at 5:58 a.m., and is believed to have occurred sometime after 11:00 p.m., the night before. Seven lap tops (Makes: Acer, Dell and Hewlett Packart) and five digital cameras (Makes: Nikon and Sony) were taken in the Break and Enter. This incident is still under investigation.
Motor Vehicle Collisions
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 9, 2009 police investigated 6 reports of motor vehicle collisions. All were property damage only and no injuries were reported.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 9, 2009 at 3:02pm police responded to a grocery store on North Front Street in response to a male shoplifter being chased by store employees. An OPP officer that was in the area, observed the foot chase and stopped to assist and held the male in custody until Belleville Officers arrived. A 38 year old Belleville male is charged with Theft under and Assault with intent to resist arrest. He is being held for a Show Cause hearing.
