The Belleville Police Service responded to 39 calls for service between April 12, 2020 at 05:00 a.m. and April 13, 2020 05:00 a.m.

Break and Enter

Belleville ON, On 12 April 2020 at 6:50 p.m. officers received a report of a male who was observed at the rear shed of a business on Highland Av. When officers arrived, they located the male who had  stolen property on him. The male was arrested at the scene. Further information received revealed that the male had also broken into the business. As a result, Jacob Stanzel 23 yr old Belleville male was charged with break enter and theft, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00 dollars. He was released on an undertaking with a court date of June 18, 2020.

Arrest on Warrant

Belleville ON, On 13 April 2020 at 03:30 a.m. officers observed a vehicle with a headlight out on Tracey St. and conducted a traffic stop. A check of the occupants revealed that Steve Sullivan, a 34 year old Belleville male was wanted for fraud under $5000.00 dollars. He was transported to the Belleville Police Service. He was released on an undertaking with a court date of June 18, 2020.
