The Belleville Police Service responded to 58 calls for service from April 1st, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to April 2nd, 2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Warrants

Belleville, ON On the 1st of April 2021, The Belleville Police Service came into contact with a male known to have an outstanding warrant. A 35-year-old Belleville man was previously charged for breaching his probation and later failed to appear before the courts as per his release conditions. As a result, Matthew Johnston was arrested and released on another Promise to Appear with a court date of the 13th of May 2021.

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Belleville, ON – During the past 24 hours, The Belleville Police Service responded to 9 motor vehicles collisions. One collision resulted in a driver being charged under the highway traffic act. Luckily, all of the incidents reported property damage only and no injuries.
