The Belleville Police responded to 65 calls for service between 5:00 a.m. on 9 Dec 20 and 5:00 a.m. on 10 Dec 20.

Harassment

Belleville ON- On 9 Dec 2020, at 9:40 a.m., officers attended a business on Millennium Pkwy in regards to a male who was acting suspiciously. Upon arrival, officers spoke to two females who provided information that the male was following them and asking inappropriate questions in the store. Officers spoke to the male and a computer check revealed he was on a Judicial Release with a condition not to have a cell phone, and not to be out of his residence. As a result, a 25-year-old male from Ardoch Ont. was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal harassment, and two counts of failing to comply with a Judicial Release. He was held for a bail hearing on 9 Dec 20.  

Theft from Vehicle

Belleville ON- On 9 Dec 2020, at 11:25 a.m., the Belleville Police received a report from an address on Bethel Rd about a theft. The complainant reported that sometime overnight an unknown suspect went through his vehicle, and some of his property was stolen. There are no suspects at this time. Anyone with information or with a similar complaint is asked the call the Belleville Police Service

Stolen Vehicle

Belleville ON- On 9 Dec 2020, at 9:20 p.m., officers attended an address on Yeoman St. Police took a report of a stolen vehicle. Police are looking for a 2011 Ford Focus grey in colour, with a licence plate of CJBX 830. Anyone with information on the vehicle’s whereabouts is asked to contact Cst Monique Waite at mwaite@police.belleville.on.ca
