The Belleville Police Service responded to 57 calls for service between December 14th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and December 15th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Break and enter

Belleville ON, On 14th. December 2019, Belleville Police attending the new build portion of a West end subdivision regarding a break and enter. Unknown suspects gained access by breaking windows and tools were taken. A short time later, another call was received from the same area that the suspects had broken into another residence. More damage was caused and tools taken. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Cst Dan Joy at djoy@police.belleville.on.ca

Theft from vehicle

Belleville ON- On 14th. December 2019 at 10:30am police received a call regarding a theft from a vehicle in the West end of the city. The victim reported that her purse had been taken out of her unlocked vehicle overnight. Police are reminding the public to lock their vehicles and ensure all valuables are removed at all times
