Belleville Police Service responded to 56 calls for service from the 11th of February 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to the 12th of February 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Belleville, ON – On the 11th of February 2020 at 11:21 a.m. police responded to the area of Bell Blvd regarding a two-vehicle collision. No injuries were reported with only minor damage to the vehicles. Police investigation resulted in one of the drivers being charged with Turn Not in Safety under the Highway Traffic Act.

Belleville, ON - On the 11th of February 2020 at 11:39 a.m. police responded to the area of Bleecker Ave regarding a two-vehicle collision. There was significant damage to both vehicles however there were no injuries reported.

Arrest on Warrants

Belleville, ON - On the 11th of February 2020 at 11:57 a.m. police responded to the area of Bleecker Avenue regarding a call for service in relation to unwanted persons. Upon police arrival it was found that the two unwanted parties had outstanding arrest warrants that were held by Belleville Police. Arrested were a 43-year-old male for bail violations and a 31-year-old female for Breach of Probation, both residents of Belleville. They are being held in custody to be brought before a Justice of the Peace.

Criminal Harassment and Breach of Court Orders

Belleville, ON – As a result of a disturbance call to an apartment complex in the city’s north end on the 11th of February at 9:00 p.m. police will be issuing an arrest warrant for a 35-year-old Belleville male for criminal harassment, two counts of breaching an officer in charge undertaking and two counts of breaching a recognizance to keep the peace. His name is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
