Impaired Driving
Belleville, ON – On February 26th, 2020, at approximately 8:30 a.m. police received a call about a possible impaired driver in the area of Bell Blvd. Officers located the vehicle and spoke with the driver, 37-year-old Kelly Wiltshire of Newcastle, ON. After investigation, officers arrested the female for operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for 7 days. Wiltshire was released on an Undertaking with a March 12th, 2020 court date.
Arrested on warrants
Belleville, ON – On February 26th, 2020, at 11:35 a.m. officers located a 47-year-old Belleville male in the downtown area wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant from the Lennox and Addington OPP. The male was placed under arrest and later turned over to the OPP to face charges of theft, mischief and breach of probation.
Belleville, ON – Officers also investigated two motor vehicle collisions during the 24-hour period. Both were minor in nature with no charges being laid.
