The Belleville Police responded to 58 calls for service between 5:00 a.m. on 18 Jan 2021 and 5:00 a.m. on 19 Jan 2021.  

Breach of Release Condition

Belleville ON, On 18 January 2021, at 6:15 p.m., officers attended an address on Bridge St. West in regards to an unwanted person. Upon arrival, police spoke to a 51-year-old Belleville male. A records check indicated that he was breaching a condition of his probation by communicating with the female complainant, and he was breaching a condition of his judicial release by interacting with the same female. He was arrested and held for a bail hearing on 19 January 2021.

Arrest on Warrant

Belleville ON, On 18 January 2021, at 8:00 p.m., Belleville Police received a call from the Picton OPP regarding a female in custody. They had Kristine Wendling, a 32 yr old Picton woman in custody on a Belleville warrant for breach of probation. Belleville Police attended Prince Edward County, and transported Wendling to Belleville where she was held for a bail hearing on 19 January 2021.
