Belleville Police Service responded to 73 calls for service from the 27th of January 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to the 28th of January 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Liquor Licence Act

Belleville, ON – On the 27th of January, at approximately 3:51 p.m., Belleville Police Officers attended a downtown location for a report of a female being assaultive towards other patrons. Officers quickly located the female and confirmed that she had consumed a large amount of alcohol. A 22-year-old female from Quinte West was arrested for her own safety and the safety of others. She was later released on a Part I Offence Notice charged with being intoxicated in a public place.

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Belleville, Ontario – On the 27th of January, eight motor vehicle collisions took place throughout the City of Belleville. Fortunately, all incidents reported property damage only and no injuries.
