The Belleville Police Service responded to 61 calls for service from January 27th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to January 28th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Theft

Belleville, ON – On January 27th, 2021, at approximately 8:20 p.m. Police attended a Millennium Parkway business in response to a theft complaint. Upon arrival Police located a 32-year-old Belleville female and placed her under arrest for the theft. Further investigation found that she was wanted on warrants from both Belleville and the OPP. The accused was transported to the Belleville Police Service and later released on Undertakings to answer to all of the charges on the 4th of March 2021.

City Police also report a fairly steady 24-hour period ending at 5:00 a.m. on January 28th 2021.  Police responded to several incidents that ended peacefully with Police intervention. Those incidents included numerous noise complaints, disturbances, domestics, suspicious persons and vehicles, traffic complaints, neighbour and family disputes, animal complaints, and calls to assist ambulance.
