The Belleville Police Service is accepting applications for the position of temporary full-time Custodian/Repair Generalist reporting to the Human Resources and Financial Administrator.
The Custodian/Repair Generalist is required to clean the police facility, perform minor repairs as required and assist with room set-ups, lifting of tables, chairs and related office equipment.
Qualifications should include hands-on knowledge and solid background in the custodial field with several years of related experience, working knowledge of equipment and supplies required to maintain the internal and exterior cleanliness of the facility as well as keeping of the grounds, knowledge of WHMIS Regulation and the Occupational Health & Safety Act. A minimum Grade 12 Graduation Diploma or equivalent and valid Class G Driver's Licence and safe driving record are required.
Remuneration: $17.396/hr (January 1, 2011 rate of pay).
