The Belleville Police responded to 67 calls for service between 5:00 a.m. on 01 July 2020 and 5:00 a.m. on 02 July 2020.

Police Assistance

Belleville ON, On 01 July 2020 at 3:50 p.m. officers received a call about a male jumping in front of traffic on Dundas St. E . By the time officers arrived the male was off the road and unconscious due to a suspected  overdose. An officer who was first on scene reported that the male was not breathing and turning blue. The officer administered two doses of Naloxone to the male. The 27 yr old Belleville male recovered and was transported to B.G.H. He was released from B.G.H later in the afternoon.

Domestic Assault

Belleville ON, On 01 July 2020 at 5:30 p.m. police received a call about a domestic dispute at an address on Tracey St. Upon arrival officers observed injuries to a female involved in the dispute. As a result, a 26 yr old Belleville male was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service. He is charged with three counts of assault. He was held for a bail hearing on 02 July 2020.
