Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville ON-On June 1st 2021 at 4:00 p.m. Belleville Police attended a collision near the intersection of North Front Street and Donald Street.  The collision occurred between a car and a motorcycle.  Minor damage and minor injuries were reported by the attending officers.  As result of the investigation a 22-year-old Belleville resident was charged with failing to yield from a private driveway contrary section 139(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.

Warrant Arrest

Belleville ON-On June 1st 2021 at 730 p.m. Belleville Police were called to a West end business regarding an unwanted person who was refusing to leave.  Officers arrived on scene and confirmed the male involved was currently wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking he entered into.  28-year-old David Reid of Quinte West was charged with fail to comply with undertaking contrary to section 145(4)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.  He was released on an undertaking with a court date of the 8th of July 2021.
