The Belleville Police Service responded to 76 calls for service between March 10th, 2020 at 5:00 a.m. and March 11th, 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Belleville, ON – On March 10th, 2020, at 7:39 a.m. police responded to a two-car collision on Dundas Street West at Coleman Street. EMS attended to treat one person at the scene for minor injuries. One driver was charged with following too closely.

On March 10th, 2020, at 9:24 a.m. police attended at Bridge Street East at Church Street in relation to a two-car collision. The airbags had been deployed in both vehicles which were towed from the scene. EMS attended at the scene to treat both drivers for minor injuries. One driver was charged with failing to stop at a red light.

On March 10th, 2020, at 10:26 a.m. police attended on Cedar Street at Catharine Street in relation to a two-vehicle collision. There were no reported injuries and the investigation is continuing.

Traffic Enforcement

Belleville, ON – On March 10th, 2020, at 4:15 p.m. an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on Moira Street West. The driver, a 37-year old Belleville woman, was charged with failing to have insurance. She was also charged with failing to notify ministry of change of address. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.
