Belleville Police Service responded to 72 calls for service from the 11th of March 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to the 12th of March 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Arrested on warrants

Belleville, ON – On March 11th, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. 27-year-old Belleville resident Douglas Kelly turned himself into Belleville Police in relation to an outstanding arrest warrant that was being held for him for break and enter and wearing a disguise with intent to avoid arrest. This was in regards to a break in that occurred in the west end on March 2nd. Douglas was released on an undertaking with a court date of April 9th, 2020.

On March 11th, 2020, at 11:39 p.m. 40-year-old Belleville resident Brian Orford was arrested on a warrant on Dundas Street West. The warrant was for breach of probation. Orford was released on an undertaking with a court date of April 16th, 2020.

Disturbance

Belleville, ON – On March 11th, 2020, at 8:24 p.m. police attended on Cedar Street in relation to a large group fighting. Two persons suffered minor injuries but did not require medical attention.
