Belleville Police Service responded to 55 calls for service from the 22nd of March 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to the 23rd of March 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Breach of Recognizance

Belleville, ON – On the 22nd of March shortly after 1:00 p.m. police were called to a Thurlow Ward residence in relation to a domestic disturbance. Upon police arrival a 26-year-old Belleville male was present who was found to be on a recognizance before the courts in relation to previous domestic charges. Conditions of the court order included that he not communicate nor be near other parties who were also present. The male was arrested and is currently being held to appear at a bail hearing before a Justice of the Peace. He is facing five counts of breaching his recognizance.
