The Belleville Police responded to 64  calls for service between 5:00 a.m. on 30 March 2021 and 5:00 a.m. on 31 March 2021.

Arrest on Warrants

Belleville ON, On 30 March 2021 at 7:30 p.m. police observed a male walking on North Front St. The officer recognized the male as Austin Cooney, a 26 year old Belleville resident. The officer had information that the male had an outstanding warrant for failing to attended for fingerprints as per his prior release, on an appearance notice. The original appearance notice was for theft under 5000.00 dollars. He was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service. Once he was processed he was released on an undertaking with a court date of 22 April 2021.

Breach of Release Order

Belleville ON, On 31 March 2021 at 1:00 a.m. police observed 2 passengers in the rear of a taxi on Octavia St. The passengers were not wearing seatbelts. The officer spoke to the passengers and one of the males admitted that he was breaching his judicial release. Brandon Beadreau, a 24 year old Belleville resident was arrested and charged with breaching his Judicial Release by not being in his residence between the specified hours. He was released on an undertaking with a court date of April 19 2021.
