Belleville Police Service responded to 92 calls for service from the 6th of March 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to the 7th of March 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Trespassing Male

Belleville, ON – On the 6th of March at 7:05 p.m. police responded to a North Front business where a male was failing to leave the premise when directed to do so. The intoxicated 58-year-old male, who is not from the Belleville area, was uncooperative and subsequently arrested under the Trespass to Property Act for failing to leave the premise when directed to do so. He was taken to the Belleville Police Service where he was held in custody until sober and released on a Provincial Offences Notice under the Trespass to Property Act.

Intoxicated Male

Belleville, ON - On the 7th of March at 12:05 a.m. police arrested an intoxicated male at a business on Wallbridge Loyalist Road. The male was reportedly refused service and proceeded to run around erratically, evading the businesses security. The 20-year-old Belleville male was located and arrested by police for Being Intoxicated in a Public Place. He was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was held in custody until sober and released on a provincial offence notice for public intoxication.

Domestic Assault Arrest

Belleville, ON – On the 6th of March at 10:28 p.m. police arrested a 29-year-old Stirling man on an outstanding warrant, stemming from the 11th of January 2020, for Uttering Threats, Assault with a Weapon, Assault and Breach of Probation. The male was transported to the Belleville Police Service and was held in custody for bail.

Domestic Mischief Arrest

Belleville, ON – On the 6th of March at 6:30 a.m. police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the East end of Belleville. Upon arrival, police conducted an investigation that revealed a 24-year-old Belleville man had caused damage to the residence and he was breaching his probation. Police arrested the male for Mischief, Breach of Probation and Possession of a Schedule I substance under the Controlled Drugs & Substances Act. The male was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he is being held for a bail hearing.
