Motor Vehicle Collision


Belleville, Ontario – On May 3rd, 2018, at 7:10 a.m. police attended at the intersection of Dundas Street West and Avondale Road for a three-car collision. A turning vehicle caused a second vehicle to carom into a guide wire for a light standard. The guide wire snapped striking the third vehicle. The driver of the turning vehicle was charged with “left turn – fail to afford reasonable opportunity to avoid a collision”. There were no injuries.



Bail Violations


Belleville, Ontario – On May 3rd, 2018, at 12:12 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on Church Street. Both occupants of the vehicle were bound by similar conditions of a recent release. One of the conditions stipulated that the pair was not to associate with each other. The 34-year old Belleville man and 35-year old Belleville woman were arrested and charged with breaching an undertaking. They will both appear in court on May 28th, 2018.
