Serious Injury Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville, Ontario- On the 20th of May 2017 at approximately 1:50Am Belleville Police responded to a serious motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Moira Street West and Yeomans Street. The investigation revealed that one vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign and struck the other vehicle resulting in one of the vehicles striking a nearby house.

Jessica McBride from Prince Edward County has been charged with six counts of impaired operation cause bodily harm and six counts of operating while of 80 milligrams cause bodily harm. She was released on a promise to appear with a June court date. 

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call Belleville Police Service.


Missing Person

Belleville, On - On 10 May, 2017 at 0730 a.m., police received a report of a missing 14 year old female from Belleville.  The female was last seen at a Charlotte Street residence.  Krystal Rose Stewart is described as approximately 5’2”, slim build, shoulder length brown hair, brown eyes and was wearing black pants, a black tank top and colourful shoes.  Stewart is of First Nations decent.

Investigation has led police to believe that Stewart is still in the Belleville area.  Police are asking that anyone with any information regarding Stewart’s whereabouts to contact 613-966-0882 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
