Assault

Belleville, On – On 22 May 2017 at 2:30 p.m., police attended at a residence on Grove Street in response to a complaint of an assault.  Investigation resulted in a 22 year old Belleville man being charged with one count each of Assault, Mischief under $5000.00 and Uttering Threats to damage property.  This male will appear in court on 19 June, 2017 in answer to the charges.

Break and Enters

Belleville, On – On 22 May, 2017 at 10:50 a.m., police responded to complaints of a break and enters at a residence on Woodland Acres and at a second residence on Chelford Crescent. 

At the residence on Woodland Acres the culprits pushed the rear screen in and entering the residence.  It is believed that nothing was stolen at this residence.

At the residence on Chelford Crescent the culprits forced entry through a basement window.

Police are asking for the public’s support in reporting any suspicious persons, vehicles or activities when observed.
