The Police Services Board is pleased to confirm the selection of Cory McMullan as the Chief of Police for the City of Belleville.
Cory will start at the City of Belleville on March 30, 2009.
Cory McMullan was born and raised in Ottawa and attended Carleton University obtaining a Bachelor of Arts, Double Honours degree in Law and Psychology with a concentration in Criminology. Cory is a graduate of the Police Leadership Administration program from Dalhousie University, the University of Toronto (Joseph L Rotman School of Management) Police Leadership Program, and is presently working towards her Masters of Business Administration at the University of Leicester, England.
Cory is very active in the community and currently sits on a number of community Boards including Four Counties Addictions Service Team, The Kawartha Haliburton Children?s Aid Society and the Peterborough Human Services and Justice Committee.
Cory is currently an Inspector with the Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service.
