The Belleville Police Service responded to 35 calls from October 11th 2021 at 5:00 a.m. to October 12th 2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Impaired Driver

Belleville ON- On October 11th at 6:30 p.m. Belleville Police received information about a vehicle being operated by a person who had been drinking.  Police located the vehicle and investigation resulted in the driver being arrested.  Rebecca Watson (29-years-old) from Corbyville has an October 28th court date, charged with:

  1. Impaired operation of a conveyance.
  2. 80 or more mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood.

Not so Happy Thanksgiving Weekend…

Belleville ON- Belleville Police officers spent the Thanksgiving weekend dealing a large number of disturbances, mostly related to family gatherings and over-drinking.  These included:

13 Disturb the Peace calls

8 Domestic disturbances

7 Family disputes

4 Unwanted persons

3 Liquor Licence Act complaints

2 Child Custody disputes

1 Neighbour dispute
