Arrested on warrants
Belleville, Ontario – On September 8th, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. a wanted male phoned the Belleville Police from a pay phone in Quinte West to see if there were warrants for his arrest. His location was forwarded to the Quinte West OPP who arrested the male near the phone booth. 24-year-old Jordan Frivalt of no fixed address was held for a bail hearing on September 9th, 2018 on charges of assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous and breach of probation. The charges stem from a September 3rd incident where a Belleville man was stabbed on College Street West. The victim was treated for minor injuries.
On September 8th, 2018, at 8:00 p.m. officers attended at a residence on Cannifton Road as a male was in medical distress. A check revealed that 39 year-old Jason Charbonneau of no fixed address was wanted on three warrants held by Belleville Police and a warrant with the Napanee OPP. He was held for a bail hearing on September 9th, 2018 on charges of possession of counterfeit money, uttering counterfeit money, failing to appear in court, and two counts of breach of probation.
Belleville, Ontario – On September 8th, 2018, at 9:20 p.m. officers attended at a Hickory Grove residence in relation to a male trespassing on their property. Officers located a 27-year-old Belleville man who was disoriented and in the wrong neighbourhood. He was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was issued a provincial offence notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
