Theft and Arrest on Warrants
Belleville, Ontario – On September 15th, 2017 at 6:54 p.m. officers were called to an east end grocery store regarding a 29 year old female who had been apprehended by store security for shoplifting. While committing the theft, the woman had her 2 young children with her. When officers attended they learned that the same woman was the subject of two separate warrants, one for another shoplifting occurrence and one for failing to attend court.
As a result, the woman was released on a Promise to Appear on all three matters with an October court date in Belleville.
