On September 13th, 2017 – 45 year old Ken Hill of Belleville attended the Belleville Police Service. He was subsequently charged criminally with - fail to stop at the scene of an accident – he was later released and will appear in Belleville court in October.

Fail to Remain Collision

Belleville, On - On September 12, 2017 at 8:13 p.m., a cyclist was east on Station Street approaching Albion Street.  A maroon Dodge Ram pickup was travelling the opposite direction on Station Street and made a left turn onto Albion Street in the path of the cyclist.  The cyclist struck the rear passenger side of the truck and was knocked unconscious for a brief time.  The pickup was last seen travelling south on Albion Street.  The pickup should have some type of damage to the rear passenger area and is described as being a crew cab, short box.  The victim was transported to QHC and later released with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are seeking additional witnesses to the accident, and are asked to contact the Belleville Police, Cst. Waite at 613-966-08882 ext 4083.
