The Belleville Police Service responded to 50 calls for service from September 27th, 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to September 28th, 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered

Belleville ON- On 27 September 2020, at 0950 a.m., police took a complaint regarding a vehicle stolen from an address on Station Street. A 2011 white Jeep Liberty was stolen on the evening of 26 September and later recovered at an address on Victoria Avenue. Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Cst. Dan Hounslow at dhounslow@police.belleville.on.ca.

Fight after Mischief

Belleville ON- On 27 September 2020, at 1:55 p.m., police were called to the area of Ridley Street and North Front Street regarding a male being beaten up by four other males. On arrival, police learned that the lone male had allegedly caused mischief to an apartment, and he was chased by the other males. A fight then took place, and the lone male was held until police arrived. The incident remains under investigation.
