Search Warrant – Project Renewal
On July 24th, 2023 at 2:37pm, members of Project Renewal and the Belleville Police Service Emergency Response Unit executed a Criminal Code search warrant at a residence on Dundas Street East in Belleville. As a result of the investigation, the following persons were charged with Controlled Drug and Substances Act charges and were both released on an Undertaking with a court date in August 2023.
John Robson, 32 years old of Belleville was charged with:
1. Possession of a Schedule I substance – Cocaine
2. Possession of a Schedule III Substance - Psilocybin
Victoria Rose, 36 years old of Belleville was charged with:
1. Possession of a Schedule I substance – Cocaine
2. Possession of a Schedule III Substance - Psilocybin
Evidence located at the residence included:
• A small quantity of Crack Cocaine
• 99.7 grams of Psilocybin
• A BB handgun
Breach of Prohibition Order
On the 25th of July 2023 at 10:20 a.m., Police responded to the area of Victoria Avenue and Pinnacle Street regarding a male who was breaching conditions of his Prohibition Order. Police attended, located the male and began an investigation. Police confirmed the male was in fact breaching the Prohibition Order. As a result, the 20-year-old Belleville man was arrested, charged and transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was held for bail.
