Weapon and Utter Threats
On the 16th of August 2023 at 9:40pm, Belleville Police received a call to attend an address on Church Street regarding a male who was threatening people while brandishing a box cutter style knife. The male had departed on a bike prior to police arrival. Police obtained a detailed description of the male and began searching the area. The male was located in the downtown core a short time later.
Douglas McGregor, 36 years old of no fixed address was arrested and charged with weapons dangerous and uttering threats. He was released on an Undertaking with a court date in September 2023.
Arrest on Warrant
On the 16th of August 2023 at 11:49am, police were called to an address on Bridge Street East regarding a female that was refusing to leave when requested by staff. Police arrived and learned that the female had an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to attend court. As a result, 35-year-old Lisa Seaboyer of no fixed address was arrested on the strength of the warrant and held for bail.
