Motor Vehicle Collision
On the 22nd of August 2023 at 3:45pm, Belleville Police were called to the intersection of Station Street and Cannifton Road regarding a two-vehicle collision. No injuries were reported but both vehicles were not drivable. As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old male from Belleville was charged with making a turn not in safety under the Highway Traffic Act.
Arrested on Warrant
On the 22nd of August 2023 at 10:50am, an officer was downtown when they observed a female known to them who had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. Norma Durant, 51 years old of Belleville was arrested on the strength of the warrant and later released on an Undertaking with a new court date in September 2023.
