Vehicle versus E-Bike Collision
On the 23rd of August 2023 shortly after 4:00pm, Belleville Police attended the intersection of Dundas St. E. and Bleeker Ave. for a motor vehicle collision between an e-bike and a SUV. The driver of the e-bike received minor injuries as a result of the collision. The collision remains under investigation. Arrested on Warrant
On the 23rd of August 2023 at 3:45pm, an officer on patrol stopped a motor vehicle in the downtown area in relation to a Highway Traffic Act infraction. During the traffic stop, the officer identified the female passenger. Further investigation revealed that she had an outstanding arrest warrant for impaired driving. As a result, Haeley Dinkle, 34 years old of Belleville was arrested on the strength of the warrant. She was released on an Undertaking with a court date in September 2023.
