Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 53 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on January 09, 2024 to 5:00 am on January 10, 2024.

Three Vehicle – Motor Vehicle Collision

On the 9^th of January at 8:50am, EMS and Police responded to a three-vehicle collision on Bridge St. West.  While driving, one of the drivers suffered from a medical episode and subsequently struck a garbage truck and another vehicle.  The driver who suffered the medical episode was transported to the hospital.  Two of the vehicles were removed from the scene by tow truck.  No charges were laid by police. 

Motor Vehicle Collisions

During the wet snow fall weather conditions on the 9^th of January between 11:20am and 4:40pm, police responded to six motor vehicle collisions.  One of the collisions resulted in minor injuries.  Drivers are reminded to slow down, plan for increased driving times to their destination and ensure there is plenty of stopping distance between vehicles.
