Pedestrian struck by Vehicle
On the 24th of January at 7:20am, Police and EMS responded to a report of a pedestrian stuck by a vehicle at the intersection of Pinnacle Street and Victoria Avenue. The pedestrian was assessed by EMS and then transported to the Belleville General Hospital with minor injuries. As a result of the police investigation, a 72-year-old driver was charged with making an improper turn under the Highway Traffic Act and issued a Provincial Offence Notice.
Suspended Driver
On the 24th of January at 10:45am, an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on Harmony Rd. The officer determined that the driver was suspended under the Highway Traffic Act. As a result, the 35-year-old driver was issued a summons for a traffic court date in March.
