Domestic Assault
On the 5th of March at 7:20pm, police responded to a residence in the city’s north end regarding a domestic dispute. Upon arrival and after speaking to the involved parties police learned that a 39-year-old Belleville male had assaulted a 56-year-old female and caused mischief within the residence. Arrested on Warrant
On the 4th of March at 7:25pm, the Belleville Police Service learned that a neighboring police service had arrested 63-year-old Cheryl Jackson of Belleville on the strength of an arrest warrant held by the Belleville Police Service. The warrant was for theft under $5000. Following the arrest, Jackson was released on an Undertaking with a court date in March.

Arrested on Warrant
On the 28th of February at 10:15am, members of the Belleville Police Community Response Unit were on patrol on Bridge Street East when they observed a male known to them who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to appear for court. Officers arrested 33-year-old Joshua Lemche of no fixed address on the strength of the warrant. He was later released on an
