Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 139 calls for service over the weekend starting at 5:00 am on the 14th of January, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 17th of January, 2022

Break and enter suspect

Belleville, Ontario- Belleville Police are looking to identify the suspect of a break and enter that occurred on 22 July 2021. Police were able to obtain a picture of the suspect. Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to contact Cst Devan Aris at daris@police.belleville.on.ca

Stolen vehicle

Belleville, Ontario- On 14 January 2022, police took a complaint regarding a stolen vehicle from a business on Maitland Drive. The vehicle is a white Chevrolet Express van licence AT26106. Anyone with information is asked to call the Belleville Police Service.

Charge under Reopening Ontario Act

Belleville, Ontario- On 14 January 2022, police were contacted by the Health Unit regarding a Sidney Street business that remained open and was not following proper health procedures. Police attended the business and spoke with the owner who had his business open. The owner was charged and issued a ticket under the Reopening Ontario Act.
